Youth Company Auditions
2026–2027 Season
Star Dance Academy is excited to announce auditions for our 2026–2027 Youth Company Season. We are looking for dedicated, passionate dancers who are ready to grow, train with intention, and represent our studio with excellence.
This is your opportunity to be part of our inaugural Youth Company season and help build something truly special from the very beginning.
About Our Youth Company
The Star Dance Academy Youth Company is a performance and competition-based team designed for dancers who are ready to take their training to the next level.
Our Youth Company members will
:
- Perform locally throughout our community
- Represent Star Dance Academy at dance competitions
- Develop strong technical foundations across multiple styles
- Build confidence, teamwork, discipline, and stage presence
We are proud to create well-rounded dancers who not only compete, but also give back and shine within our local community.
Youth Company is about commitment, growth, and leadership — both inside and outside the studio.
Audition Details
Date: Saturday, May 2nd
Doors Open: 9:30 AM
10AM: AGE 5 TO 9
12PM: AGE 10 & Up
Location: STAR DANCE ACADEMY
401 W.Martintown Rd, Ste 121 – North Augusta, SC
Please arrive early to allow time for check-in and preparation.

Please include Dancer's full name and date of birth as well as Parent/Guardian's name. Once we receive your email, we will add your dancer to our audition list.
What to Expect at Auditions
Dancers will be evaluated in the following styles:
- Ballet
- Jazz Technique
- Hip Hop
- Ballroom
A portion of the audition choreography will be sent via video one week prior to the audition date. Dancers are expected to learn and prepare the assigned material before arriving.
Additional choreography and technique combinations will be taught on the day of auditions.
